Blackbook Solutions Group (BSG) was founded in 2005 by Charles Gaddy and William Spruill. Charles came from a background of support services and technological support, whereas Bill’s background was focused on business development. In 2005, after deciding that they could do more with their resources together than alone, Bill and Charles came together to create Blackbook Solutions Group. The name Blackbook was born out of the pair’s commitment to helping entrepreneurial technology companies and micro ISVs expand and improve their technology through strategic business development and channel alliances. BSG is not just one organization—it's access to many organizations. In essence, we open up our "little black book" of relationships to clients and then help clients nurture those partnerships. Bill Spruill
Bill Spruill is the Director of Business Channel Development and is responsible for helping businesses maximize their resources through alliances and channel development. As an individual who has spent much of his professional life making connections between people for varied business purposes, Bill co-founded BSG to continue helping businesses create relationships based on trust, value and shared benefit. Besides his role at BSG, Bill is also currently the Chief Operations Officer at AddressDoctor (recently acquired by Informatica). His past positions include Global Business Development Manager at DutaFlux (a division of SAS), VP Business Development at StartUpStreet/Fusion Ventures and Director of Business Development at The Council for Entrepreneurial Development.
Charles Gaddy
Charles Gaddy is the Managing Director of Technical Services and is responsible for client support and technical sales services at BSG. With 15+ years of experience in Information Technology, Product Management and Sales Support, Charles co-founded BSG to focus on the underserved needs of Micro ISVs and orphaned software technologies. Charles' past positions include VP of Product Management, Alliance Manager, Senior Sales Engineer and Director of Information Technology. He has specific experience in banking, insurance, direct marketing technology and software data quality market sectors.
